Tim Heavisides Group CEO

Having joined the company in 1982, Tim has successfully guided the company to the forefront of the vehicle warranty and asset protection markets. As Group CEO Tim is the driving force behind the business, ensuring we remain the partner of choice within the industry. Tim also lends his spare time to the role of non-executive director of Motor Codes a subsidiary of the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders.

In his spare time, Tim is an avid motorsports fan.

Paul Newton Chief Operation Officer

Paul joined Car Care Plan in 2002 and as Chief Operating Officer he is responsible for overseeing Marketing, IT and Operations activities. A qualified accountant, Paul has spent almost 30 years working in financial services industries including motor insurance, broking and personal lending businesses.

A keen golfer and an enthusiastic cyclist you will often find Paul on the golf course or cycling the country roads in his spare time.

Simon Wright Chief Financial Officer

Simon has been with the company since 1993 and is currently Group CFO with responsibility for our Finance, Credit Control, Risk, Invoicing and Reporting teams. Simon is a Qualified Chartered Accountant and brings with him a wealth of experience after many years within the financial services sector.

Away from work, Simon is a qualified athletics coach, a keen, if limited, fell runner, and also enjoys road and mountain biking.

Gary Whitelam Managing Director of Car Care Plan Insurance

Gary is Managing Director of Car Care Plan Insurance and joined the business in 1990. As an ACII-qualified Chartered Accountant, Gary is responsible for the underwriting and actuarial activity for our business worldwide and is also Chairman of the Extended Warranty Committee of the Association of British Insurers.

Gary is a keen cyclist and football fan.

Mark Holley Head of Underwriting

Mark joined Car Care Plan in 2005.  As Head of Underwriting he is responsible for the underwriting performance of Car Care Plan’s programmes worldwide.  A Fellow of the Insurance Institute and a Chartered Insurer, Mark has over a third of a century experience in General Insurance, covering a variety of senior management roles. 

A keen sportsman, Mark likes to spend his spare time playing cricket for his local village side.

Dave Kelly Head of Actuarial

Dave joined Car Care Plan in 1993.   As Head of Actuarial for Car Care Plan Insurance he is responsible for overseeing all of the business’s actuarial activities involving pricing, reserving, risk analysis and modelling.  An Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and a 25-year veteran of the insurance industry, he began his career working in the London Reinsurance market.  A real family man, Dave spends his free time watching movies and on other family activities.
